Consider applying for the FREE Canadian Wilderness Stewardship Program, which includes:
The Canadian Wilderness Stewardship Program is designed to empower the next generation of Canada’s environmental stewards by providing the tools and confidence you need to advocate for protecting Canada’s land and waters.
You will have the opportunity to participate in workshops that strike a balance between traditional knowledge and western science when it comes to environmental conservation.
Activities may include wilderness safety, wildlife monitoring, water quality testing, boating and fishing, hunting and trapping, a medicinal plant hike, and much more.
The program is offered by our long-term partners in conservation, the Manitoba chapter of the non-profit Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society.
