Accepting Applications for the Income Assistance Pre-Employment Supports Program

PESP is now accepting and encouraging social clients to make application to participate in this year’s trainings.

Requirements: 18+Income Assistance clients

Intake Interview and assessments

  • Great attendance
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong commitment

The goal of P.E.S.P is to assist Income Assistant clients to enhance their skills and knowledge to transition from Income assistance to employment and/or Education.

Our Service’s Offering Clients seeking skills to overcome barriers for employment/education.

  • Computer
  • Mental Health Awareness/Life Skills
  • Three (3) week Job Readiness Training

Certificate Trainings

  • First Aid CPR
  • Food Handlers
  • Customer Service
  • Four (4) week / Five (5) Month work placement
  • Assisting with: Child/Adult Abuse Registry Checks
  • Criminal Record Checks.
