2022 Spring Clean Up

Fisher River Cree Nation “ON RESERVE” Band Members ONLY

Due to the funding availability, the Fisher River Cree Nation will be hiring 80 individuals to assist in cleaning of the ditches throughout the Community due to the debris from the Flood; the first 80 individuals that sign up and fit the following criteria will be notified:

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY:

  • FRCN Band Members residing “On Reserve” only;
  • Short E.I. Hours, and E.I. will be deducted;
  • Must have a Social Insurance Number upon starting (No exceptions);
  • Must be physically fit and able to work in extreme weather Conditions;
  • The Crew will work for 6 days due to funding availability-
    • Start Date: Tuesday, May 24- Sunday, May 29, 2022 (8 hr shifts daily- 8:30 am – 4:30 pm), meet at the Arena parking lot.
  • Responsible for own transportation to and from work, (No gas provided)
  • Need (1) Truck & Trailer; Trailer must be registered & must provide your own gas.
  • Students currently attending school (High School or at Verna J.) & Active Training Programs will not be accepted at this time.

Sign up at the Band Office must provide SIN # and Date of Birth before starting work. Please Note: Everyone must sign up themselves. (First priority will be to the ones that didn’t work yet)
