Fisher River Board of Education invites applications for a Resource Teacher/Life Skills Instructor for Fisher River High School
Resource Teacher/Life Skills Instructor works in special education to provide instruction to students with special needs. They provide academic education as well as basic life skills that these students will utilize in their everyday life. These skills include critical thinking, money management, problem-solving skills, hygiene, food preparation, appropriate social interaction, etc. Life skills teachers are also responsible for administrative functions.
Candidates who possess a valid Permanent Teaching Certificate are invited to submit their resumes, along with three references, one of which must be the current/last employer to the Board of Education office. Candidates must also include copies of current criminal record and child abuse registry checks.
