Employment Opportunity for (5 Days)
(1) Security Personnel – $500 for 30 – 40 hrs of work

Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) is hosting a Stewardship Summit at the Fisher River Youth Cabin from August 8-12, 2022 for 5 days. We are looking for (1) Security Personnel to assist and be available to help youth during the camp.

Expectations:

• Must be committed to the full 4 nights
• Must have a strong but professional demeanor/attitude;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Must arrive on time each day;
• Excellent physical, mental and emotional health;
• Maintain a professional code of ethics:
• Must assist in area if an emergency arises;

Security Duties – Daily hours of work 10 pm – 7 am, Monday to Thursday (4 nights)

• Checks during the nights for safety of entire camp, the youth, the tents and the equipment
• Keep the fire going
• Gather wood as needed
• Helping the youth as needed
• Be available for general help around the campsite

Must comply with CPAWS Policies/Procedures and abide with the FRCN Illegal Drug By-law.
