Supervisor:     Mentorship Co-ordinator Hours of Work: 40 hrs Bi-weekly

Job Summary: Our organization is looking for a dynamic, positive, and dependable Recreation Worker to work in a term position while being a positive role model for our residents.

Under the direct Supervision of the Mentorship Coordinator along with OSCN PCH Executive Director, the Recreation Worker will work closely with the Activity Department in planning events, recreational programming, and an exercise plan for the residents of the OSCN PCH.


  • Must be fully vaccinated according to Manitoba Public Health guidelines and provide proof of vaccination.
  • Clear Criminal and Adult Abuse Registry check must be provided with Application (both current within 6 months)
  • Must have C.P.R., First Aid and Food Handlers Certificates or willing to get the training
  • Experience and/or skills in planning, organizing, and directing daily activities for residents
  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and shift work as required
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to take direction and follow through
  • Good physical and mental health required
  • Positive attitude towards residents, co-workers, supervisor, and the general public
  • Respects confidentiality of residents & staff information
  • Additional duties as required
  • Must adhere to F.R.C.N. Drug by-law
