Job Summary: Our organization is looking for a dynamic, positive, and dependable Wellness Worker to work in a term position while being a positive role model for our residents.
Under the direct Supervision of the Mentorship Coordinator along with OSCN PCH Executive Director, the Wellness Worker will work closely with the Nursing Department. The wellness worker will plan wellness events, wellness visits and daily check ins with the Residents of the OSCN PCH.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be fully vaccinated according to Manitoba Public Health guidelines and provide proof of vaccination.
- Clear Criminal and Adult Abuse Registry check must be provided with Application (both current within 6 months)
- Must have C.P.R., First Aid and Food Handlers Certificates or willing to get the training
- Must be willing to work weekends, holidays and shift work as required
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and to take direction and follow through
- Good physical and mental health required
- Positive attitude towards residents, co-workers, supervisor and the general public
- Respects confidentiality of residents & staff information
- Additional duties as required
- Must adhere to F.R.C.N. Drug by-law
