QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have Foods Handlers, C.P.R, First Aid and WHMIS Certificates, or willing to take the training
  • Updated Criminal & Adult Abuse Registry checks required with application
  • Must be fully vaccinated according to Manitoba Public Health guidelines and provide proof of vaccination.
  • Practical knowledge and skills related to preparing and serving food in an institutional or healthcare food service environment, would be an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions
  • Must be willing to work shift work, including weekends & holidays
  • Must be a self-motivated, self-directed worker who requires minimal supervision with the ability to multi-task duties and work under stressful situations at times
  • Good physical and mental health
  • Positive attitude towards residents, co-workers, supervisor and people in general
  • Respects confidentiality of residents & staff information
