Fisher River Cree Nation (FRCN) (www.fisherriver.ca) is presently seeking a VLT Site Manager to work under the direction of the Director of Operations and the FRCN Chief & Council.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
The VLT Site Manager will be responsible for the management and carrying out a full range of day-to-day key activities;
- Provide monthly reports to the Director of Finance;
- Report as required to the Manitoba Gaming Control Commission;
- Supervise VLT Site Staff and Site security personnel;
- Coordinate all staff work schedules at the VLT Site;
- Liaise with the Director of Finance and other Finance Department staff of FRCN as required;
- Comply with all FRCN By-laws and policies, and make VLT Site staff aware of same and ensure compliance;
- Carry out employee performance evaluations, employee discipline, and termination procedures as required;
- Oversee and be responsible for all cash transactions on the premises;
- Maintain accurate records for all on-site financial transactions including: cash float, bankroll balancing, deposits, accounts payable, etc;
- Implement and maintain a high level of customer service;
- Implement and be responsible for all staff training, customer service training, robbery procedures training, etc., as required by VLT Site and security personnel;
- Ensure compliance with MLC violation policy and MGCC regulatory infractions;
- Be responsible for installing video equipment, panic buttons, etc., for the accountability and safety of all staff and customers;
- Order and monitor gaming and other inventory for the Site and the canteen;
- Implement the VLT Site contribution program and processing applications as needed;
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times;
- Must be willing to be Bonded
- Other duties as assigned by the Chief and Council.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A degree in a field related to Finance, such as accounting, or two years related experience and/or education and training;
- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Excellent written, communication and organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment;
- Knowledge of general office procedures, practices and office equipment operations;
- Demonstrated computer knowledge capabilities;
- Experience in handling a large volumes of cash;
- Must provide with Resume, Criminal Record Check, Child and Adult Abuse Registry Checks.
