The Jordan’s Principle Summer Students will assist in working in a multidisciplinary environment working alongside the Child Development Workers in planning, creating, and organizing summer activities for the clientele of Jordan’s Principle.

DURATION: July 8 – August 30, 2024 (8 weeks)


  • Fisher River High School student, age 16+ (proof upon hire) or Post Secondary completed 2023/24 Academic Year in good standing or returning in 2024/25 Academic Year;
  • Excellent reading and writing skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Great rapport with children, working with groups and as a team member;
  • Friendly and courteous;
  • Must possess a positive, respectful attitude towards clients, their families, peers, supervisor and the general public;
  • Must be punctual, reliable, energetic and in good mental and physical health, extended hours may occur, weekend/evenings hours in place as needed;
  • Able to take direction and follows through to completion of tasks;
  • Must adhere to Fisher River Cree Nation Procedures/Policies.
