Employment & Training Administrative Assistant
The Human Resource Program is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our organization. The successful incumbent will provide a high level of expertise in the areas of an Administrative Assistant.
DUTIES:
- Use of Office Equipment and software – ie fax/photocopier, computer, MS Word/Excel and email sofware
- Maintain paper and electronic files, create documents and handle travel arrangements.
- Manage incoming Invoices and order office supplies
- Data entry into ARMS system, training will be provided.
- Answering phones, greeting the public
- Must be able to Manage Office when Coordinator is not available
- Help Clients with applications ei. EI, OAS – training will be provided
- Other Administrative Duties assigned
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Office Assistant Certificate or work experience in Office Environment
- Problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizing
- Punctual, meticulous, reliable and able to work independently
- Must have good organizational, communication skills
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment;
- Knowledge of general office procedures, practices
- Demonstrated computer knowledge capabilities;
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel upon request
- Excellent internal/external customer service skills.
