JOB SUMMARY:
Fisher River Health Centre is looking for a highly skilled individual that has both Administrative and Health background, must be able to perform administrative/reception work in a high-paced medical office. The incumbent will direct client/visitors arrivals and calls to the appropriate departments with tact and professionalism; they will also manage and maintain front reception/waiting area for clients, staff and visitors. The individual will work with a variety of health departments on a daily basis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Formal training and/or a minimum of two years’ experience in Administrative work;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word/Excel, Data Entry/Windows, Internet/Emails;
- Knowledge of Health Information systems and Medical Terminology or willing to learn;
- Excellent time management and excellent people skills;
- Excellent critical thinking and have high cognitive skills;
- Must be punctual, reliable and energetic;
- Must be able to work extended hours, if needed;
- Excellent writing & communication skills, respectful and able to work as a team member;
- Must be able to take direction and follow through to completion of tasks;
- Must adhere to FRCN Policies/Procedures, including Illegal Drug By-law and Criminal Record Check
DUTIES:
- Perform reception work in a high-paced medical office/facility;
- Triage all phone calls to correct departments;
- Direct client/visitors arrivals and calls to the appropriate departments;
- Manage and maintain front reception/waiting area for clients and staff;
- Work closely with all departments in Health;
- Manage quarterly office supply orders;
- Manage incoming faxes via e-files;
