CHILDREN’S ADVOCATE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
(Full Time Position)
Fisher River Cree Nation is presently seeking a full time Children’s Advocate Administrative Assistant to work under the direction of the Children’s Advocate Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of clerical functions by providing the following key activities:
DUTIES:
- Answering phones, greeting the public,
- File, type, photocopy and distribute material when required,
- Use of Office Equipment and software – ie fax/photocopier, computer, MS Word/Excel and email software
- Maintain paper and electronic files, create documents and handle travel arrangements.
- Manage incoming Invoices and order office supplies
- Data entry into maximizer system, training will be provided.
- Must be able to Manage Office when Director is not available
- Other Administrative Duties assigned
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Office Assistant Certificate or work experience in Office Environment
- Problem solving, decision making, job task planning and organizing
- Punctual, meticulous, reliable and able to work independently
- Must have good organizational, communication skills
- Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment;
- Knowledge of general office procedures, practices
- Demonstrated computer knowledge capabilities;
- Must be able to work flexible hours and travel upon request
- Excellent internal/external customer service skills.
