Compliance & Resource Officer Assistant
(Part time Position)

Fisher River Cree Nation (FRCN) is presently seeking a Part-Time position for Compliance & Resource Officer Assistant to work under the direction of the FRCN Chief & Council and supervision of the Director of Operations.  The incumbent will provide proficient specimen collection services in the drug testing process consistent with the provisions and requirements of the enacted By–Law to prohibit illegal drugs that was created by the Fisher River Cree Nation.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

  • Coordinate random and targeted drug testing of potential, new and current employees.
  • Ability to provide specimen collection services according to regulations and standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality, integrity and security in respect to the donor and specimen, data and files.
  • Provide interim referrals of test positives to proper support service(s).
  • Provide written notification of test results to proper employer.
  • Provide on-going Drug Awareness information/programs to the community.
  • Must adhere to FRCN Policies & Procedures, including the Illegal Drug By-law, etc;
  • Other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent knowledge of the FRCN Drug By-Law and its policy pursuant to it.
  • Attained certified training or willingness to be trained in Drug Testing Procedures by a Certified Trainer.
  • Experience in data reporting.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of/and experience in Drug Awareness programs.
  • Must own a vehicle and possess/submit a copy of valid driver’s license.
  • Must submit current Criminal Record, Child and Adult Abuse Registry Checks along with resume.
