Fisher River Cree Nation will be providing Meat Packs to OFF RESERVE Members, distribution will take place in Winnipeg. Details are as follows:

When:  Wednesday, December 23, 2020
Location:
Warehouse at 576 Roseberry Street
Winnipeg, Manitoba
Time: 10:00 A.M. To 3:00 P.M. (due to limited quantity & could run out quicker than expected)

This is for those who have not received a meat pack on December 9th, 2020.  We will have a list of names of the 300 who received one on December 9th, 2020.

Please note that a meat pack will be provided “ONE member per household”- must be over 18 years old.

Bring your Status card, and/or Government ID with picture identifying your status with the Fisher River Cree Nation. As well a Hydro or MTS bill, or any kind of RECENT utility bill that has your name and your address on it. (failure to provide will result in denial of meat pack)

There will be no picking up for other members. Only 2 packages per vehicle, regardless of how many in the vehicle, due to limited quantity.

Please remain in your vehicles at all times, no getting out of your vehicles.  Any vehicle who cuts inline ahead of another vehicle and is caught doing this will not receive a meat pack.

We will only allow walk-ups if you take a bus, but must present your bus transfer for that day.

On-site bathrooms/facilities ARE NOT open to the public.

All Health and Safety protocols must be followed; wear masks, stand 6 feet apart, use hand sanitizers. If you are not feeling well please stay home.

Please note that this is a one-day distribution. Its impossible to accommodate all off reserve members with a meat pack as we only have a limited amount of meat packs available, please be considerate and allow those who are really in need to receive the meat packs.
