The Fisher River Hawks of the Keystone Junior B are proud to have been a part of the KJHL hockey league since we became a Junior B hockey organization four years ago.
In the last four years the organization has struggled on the ice to be competitive with other teams in the league. This was due to many factors from travel aspects to location dynamics. Finding management and coaching, along with Player recruitment and commitment, and other aspects are have been hard to come by.
For these reasons, and a few others, the Fisher River Hawks hockey franchise will be taking a 1 year Leave of Absence from team play for the 2018-19 KJHL hockey season to regroup and make a plan with respect to moving forward and icing a competitive team for the 2019-2020 hockey season.
