Health Centre Update and Hours of Operation – COVID-19 Pandemic
To all community members:

  1. Fisher River Health Centre is open regular day time hours.
  2. Fisher River Health Centre and Fisher River Cree Nation Leadership recently met with all community entities to discuss FRCN Community Pandemic Plans. Each entity has established their own protocols for their workplace.
  3. The Health Director and Nursing are in meetings this week with FNIHB, Red Cross, and Dr. Routledge to discuss Community Pandemic Plans. This is for every First Nation Community in Manitoba and not just for Fisher River Cree Nation.
  4. As we continually update and revise our Community Pandemic Plan to accommodate the changes as per COVID -19. We kindly ask for your patience in this matter, as changes from Manitoba Health and Public Health are updated daily.

If you have any questions or concerns please call Tanya Kirkness Nurse-in Charge, and or Lana Harper at The Fisher River Health Centre 204-645-2689.
Your cooperation during this time is greatly appreciated.
Thank you;
Lynette McDonald
Director of Health
