The Chief & Council want to advise the membership that a conference call was held today with Peguis First Nation and Kinonjeoshtegon First Nation regarding the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in the Province of Manitoba; specifically, in our region of the Interlake-Eastern Health region.
The communities plan on working together to establish Safety Protocols for the safety of our members; what those protocols are have yet to be determined. Details will be released within the next week or two and will be announced to the membership.
So please be advised that plans are underway as we work together for your safety and more information will be released in the near future. Please ensure when traveling out of the Community that you follow Manitoba Public Health protocols such as Social Distancing, Hand Washing, Avoiding Touching your Face, Wearing of Mask etc.
Ekosani!
