Administrative Assistant

This program focuses on the administrative and technical skills needed to meet the demands of the current and emerging office environment. After successful completion of the program you will be knowledgeable in business office software, administrative procedures, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Bookkeeping and Small Business
Jan 6/20 | Selkirk
This program will enable you to carry out the receptionist, secretarial, bookkeeping and payroll functions normally found in small businesses. As a graduate you will also be qualified for entry-level positions in larger businesses and various levels of government.
Business, Accounting & Management
Sept 23/19 | Selkirk
This develops skills in computers, accounting, business writing and human resource management. Includes three-week work placement with a local employer, where you will gain valuable hands-on experience in a business environment.
Early Childhood Education/Workplace

This program prepares you to provide quality childcare in the community. Upon successful completion of the program you will be able to competently plan learning experiences that stimulate the intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of young children. This program provides you with practical experience working with young children at a variety of children’s centres.
Educational Assistant

This program prepares you for a career working with students in an educational setting to support the work of the teachers and clinicians. You will study and explore the developmental needs of children, as well as the instructional strategies to meet those needs. This program provides you with a work practicum working with K-12 students.
Health Care Aide

This program develops the knowledge and skills you need to become a health care worker who, under the supervision of a nurse, assists hospital patients, personal care home residents, or home care clients. You will have opportunities to gain experience in simulated laboratory settings at the College and work practicum in health care agencies.
Indigenous Languages

This program is designed to train you to work in the K-12 school system or in community-based programs with an emphasis on the Ojibway language and cultural competencies such as reading, writing and speaking the Ojibway language. You will learn in a variety of settings: classroom instruction, lab instruction, land-based learning and in a classroom or community-based practicum.
Intro to Trades

Consider this program if you are looking for an introduction to a wide range of trade careers so you can prepare to enroll in RRC trades programs including Automotive Technician Certificate, Carpentry, Collision Repair and Refinishing, Electrical, Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, Manufacturing Technician, Outdoor Power Equipment Technician, Plumbing, Precision Metal Machining. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician and Welding.
