Background

Due to a delay in the delivery of the Pfizer vaccine to Canada, the Province of Manitoba will be scaling back its immunization campaign. All first and second dose appointments already booked will continue as planned however, No New Appointments will be made.

The Brandon super site, which opened on January 18, will decrease its operations until more vaccines are available. The Vaxport site in Thompson will not open in early February as originally expected.

The changes to the immunization campaign only affect those receiving the Pfizer vaccine. Immunization delivery plans of the Moderna vaccine to First Nations communities will not be affected.

Fisher River Health Centre Moderna Vaccination clinics are on-going.

This vaccination clinic is for the target group identified for the 190 doses received from Health Canada.

Please call Health Centre if you are eligible for Moderna Vaccine.

Thank you.
