Job Summary:
The IAFNYES is seeking a positive, dependable Youth Worker who will serve as a Mentor to the Youth in their work placements.
Under the direct supervision of the IAFNYES Supervisor and the PESP Coordinator, the Youth coordinator/Mentee will work with the IAFNYES participants and create engaging experiences that keep the participants open to exploring their interests, developing new skills, and having fun.
- Must be in the age bracket of 18 – 30 and registered in the Social Program. Due to being a Social Youth Program.
- Updated Criminal & Adult Abuse Registry Checks required with application.
- Manage time as hours are staggered.
- Assist Youth in the use of resources and technology.
- Maintaining records of youth participants in the program activities, attendance, and other data.
- Respect the confidentiality of Staff and participants’ information.
- Must be willing to attend training.
- Must be able to get to and from work. on own.
- Must Adhere to FRCN Drug-By-Law
