Youth Program Coordinator (Term Position)
The IAFNYES is seeking a positive, dependable Youth Worker who will serve as a Mentor to the Youth in their work placements.
Under the direct supervision of the IAFNYES Supervisor and the PESP Coordinator, the Youth coordinator/Mentee will work with the IAFNYES participants and create engaging experiences that keep the participants open to exploring their interests, developing new skills, and having fun.
Must be in the age bracket of 18 – 30 and registered in the Social Program. Due to being a Social Youth Program.
Updated Criminal & Adult Abuse Registry Checks required with application.
Manage time as hours are staggered.
Assist Youth in the use of resources and technology.
Maintaining records of youth participants in the program activities, attendance, and other data.
Respect the confidentiality of Staff and participants’ information.
Must be willing to attend training.
Must be able to get to and from work. on own.
