Health Care Aide (Personal Care Home) – Opportunity

| Supervisor: Head Nurse | Hours of Work: 80 Hours Bi-weekly |
Position Summary:
Under the general direction of the Head Nurse the Health Care Aide performs the assigned duties related to the Nursing Standard Practises and complies with the Standards & Policy Procedures. Duties are performed while maintaining Standards of Safety and Health. The Health Care Aide functions in accordance with PCH’s Missions, Goals, and Objectives.
Qualifications:
- Updated Criminal Record and Adult Abuse Registry must be attached along with Resume
- Must be fully vaccinated according to Manitoba Public Health guidelines and provide proof of vaccination.
- Health Care Aide Certificate
- Current First Aide & CPR or must be willing to acquire
- Must be willing to work shift work, nights, and weekends
- Be in good physical and mental health
- Ability to take direction and follow-through
- Ability to work under pressure
- Respects the confidentiality of Residents and Staff information
- Positive attitude towards Residents, Co-workers, Supervisors, and people in general
