EFT 1.0- Clinic Support

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Director of Health, the Clinic Support is responsible for assisting the Clinic Nurse with Local Physician Clinics by preparing the necessary information as needed, also by receiving incoming calls, triage all Nursing calls, working closely and also hands-on in other program areas; the Clinical Support will work with Accuro (electronic medical records) and the monthly Eye Doctor clinics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certified Training as Office Administration from a recognized institution, and/or two years’ experience as an Administrative Support Clerk or Medical Unit Clerk;
- Successful completion of Medical Terminology or a field in Health Care;
- Demonstrated ability to use various Computer Software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Electronics (e-Health, e-Chart, Telehealth and Accuro);
- Understanding of the First Nations Health Care Delivery and Services of the Fisher River Cree Nation Health Services;
- Ability to work as a team member and work independently;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required;
- Excellent organizational, prioritizing and time management skills required;
- Must be available to work flexible hours at times and to travel when required;
- Must adhere to FRCN Policies & Procedures, including the Illegal Drug By-law, Adult Abuse & Child Abuse Registry.
