Short-Term Position
Water Testing Assistant
Fisher River Cree Nation Health Services
JOB SUMMARY
To work alongside the Environmental Health Worker (EHW) in Water Testing in the community of Fisher River Cree Nation; assist with reports as per directives given; as set out by the Environmental Public Health Services Department of Indigenous Services Canada (ISC), First Nations and Inuit Health Branch.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Some knowledge of Fisher River Cree Nation and it’s local practices in Health and Environment;
- Must be able to start immediately after posting is complete;
- A valid Manitoba Driver’s Licence, use of vehicle, not required but will work with the program to manage;
- Use of a cell phone, not required but will work with the program to manage;
- Ability to work with local and outside resources;
- Able to take direction and follows through to completion of tasks;
- Good interpersonal skills: respectful and good attitude;
- Must be available to work flexible hours and to travel when required;
- Training will be provided.
