CASUAL WATER TRUCK OPERATORS (ON CALL BASIS when Needed)
Summary
Fisher River Cree Nation is presently seeking an On Call Basis Water Truck Operator when needed, to work under the direction of the Director of Operations. The Water Truck Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the Water Truck.
Duties
- Provide potable water to the people of the community economically;
- Maintain the Truck and equipment (daily routine checks on the water trucks) as required;
- Keep record and daily logs and reports of the water levels;
- Report to supervisor on problems that may occur within the Water system;
- Training will be provided.
- Must Clean Water Truck daily at the end of the day.
- Must adhere to FRCN Policies & Procedures, including the Illegal Drug By-law, etc;
- Perform other duties assigned as required.

QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of a Grade twelve education or GED equivalent is mandatory,
- Must be in good physical shape and able to meet the physical demand;
- Must be responsible for own transportation to work-site,
- Must be willing to go away for training to be certified,
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team,
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision,
- Must be willing to work evenings, weekends in event of an emergency,
- Must have a Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and provide copy,
- Must provide a copy of Driver’s abstract,
- Must provide with Resume, Criminal Record Check, Adult Abuse and Child Abuse Registry Check.
