(1) Youth Support Worker
(6 month term position)
Employment & Training is seeking 1 – Youth Support Positions for a 6 month term position. The successful individual will be placed within the community to work along with Entities through their term.
Qualifications for the Youth Support Worker, must be able to:
- Work as a team member and contribute to the center
- Communicate well with the Public
- Have motivation and work independently
- Have a positive attitude
- Be a role model to the youth of the community
- Be reliable and on time for work daily
- Be flexible to work evenings & weekends
- Must be able to assist with the Summer Employment Program
- Must adhere to FRCN Policies & Procedures
- Must provide with resume, current Criminal Record Check, Child and Adult Abuse Registry Checks.
- Grade 12 diploma an asset
- Fisher River Band Member
- Vehicle will be an asset
Duties of the Youth Support Worker:
- Must adhere to the duties assigned with the Entity
- May involve Community or Administrative work
- Assigned work may include working outside the regular hours, ie work along with Sports and Recreation.
- Must be able to supervise Summer Students.
