WATER/WASTE TRUCK OPERATORS (2) Full Time Positions
Summary
Fisher River Cree Nation is presently seeking (2) Full time – Water/Wastewater Truck Operators to work under the direction of the Public Works Coordinator. The Water and Wastewater Operators is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Water and Wastewater Trucks.
Duties
- Provide day to day service to the people of the community economically;
- Operate and maintain equipment related to Water and Sewage Trucks.
- Maintain the equipment (daily routine checks on the water/septic trucks) as required;
- Keep record and daily logs;
- Must be willing to train to operate both Water and Sewage Truck;
- Must adhere to the FRCN Policies & Procedures, including the Drug By-law, Social Media etc.
- Other duties assigned
Qualifications
- A minimum of a Grade twelve education or GED equivalent is mandatory or willing to gain the equivalent of grade 12 within one year.
- The successful candidate will receive all required training both on the job and in a classroom setting in Winnipeg (maximum of two weeks time frame away from home at a time).
- The successful candidate must be willing to be certified as a water treatment plant operator level two, a wastewater plant operator and also be certified as a water distribution system operator and a wastewater collection system operator level one.
- Must have class 5 Drivers Licence,
- Must provide Drivers Abstract
