Intertribal Child & Family Services promotes the development and well-being of children, youth and families by assisting requests for children and families that meet eligibility, to access relevant programs, resources and services offered in their communities.

With the many changes ongoing I believe that it is important to reflect on the history of ICFS. Intertribal Child and Family Services (ICFS) has been part of a decentralization process over the course of a number of years. ICFS was initially part of Anishinaabe Child and Family Services, which comprised of 9 communities.
