Cree Nation Radio Manager
(Part-Time Position – 55 hrs Bi-weekly)

Fisher River Cree Nation is presently seeking a qualified individual for the position as Cree Nation Radio Manager.  The Cree Nation Radio Manager will work closely with and report to the Director of Operations.

Key Activities:

  • Respond to External and Internal inquiries;
  • Generate Sales;
  • Keep Community informed with news and announcements;
  • Invoicing and Accounting;
  • Record commercials;
  • On-air presence;
  • Perform other duties assigned

Qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Must be comfortable with being on-air;
  • Experience working with computer programs (Mac, Excel, Word, Outlook);
  • Excellent written, communication and organizational skills;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision;
  • Knowledge of general office procedures, practices and office equipment.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Must adhere to FRCN Policies & Procedures, including the Illegal Drug By-law, etc;
  • Must provide with Resume, Criminal Record Check, Child and Adult Abuse Registry Checks.
