Office Clerk (Full-time)
First Nation Healing Centre is a non-profit organization which is currently seeking an Office Clerk. The Office Clerk responsibilities will include performing various administrative and clerical tasks, managing office supplies, maintaining records, handling invoicing tasks, assisting in other areas as needed and providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Manage and organize office supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Maintain and update accurate records and databases.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments and travel arrangements.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, reports and minute-taking+.
- Handling incoming and out-going mail and packages.
- Process and manage invoices, including data entry, verification, and follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Provide and maintain an environment that is welcoming, supportive and secure to those who seek shelter and healing.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma, or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus,
- Proven experience as an office clerk, administrative assistant, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with invoicing software and financial processes.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills,
- Valid Drivers License,
- Strong attention to details and accuracy,
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team,
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be aware of the impact and effects of abuse on the lives of woman and children.
- Must submit a criminal record check child abuse registry check, and drug test (as per the FRCN By-Law 2004-01, Sec. 8.01);
