IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Jordan’s Principle Director
JOB SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Jordan Principle Director, the Human Resource Manager is responsible for providing support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring, and advising employers and employees on human resources matters. The Human Resource Manager provides advice and assistance to Program Managers, Supervisors, and Staff that may include information on training needs and opportunities, job descriptions, performance reviews, and ensures that they have accurate and timely information in order to make effective human resources-related decisions. The Human Resource Manager will implement and evaluate human resources and labour relations strategies including policies, programs and procedures to address Jordan’s Principle’s human resource requirements.
Education & Experience
- A University degree or college diploma in human resources management or a related field, such as business administration, commerce or psychology or completion of a professional development program in human resources administration is required;
- 1 – 2 years of related experience in human resources;
- Preference will be given to candidates pursuing a CPHR designation;
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

- Excellent time management of human resources, methods and strategies;
- Strong project management and organizational skills;
- Strong ability to facilitate teams focused on day today transactional work;
- Effective verbal and communications skills;
- Must submit, current Criminal Record Check, Child and Adult Registry Checks;
- Must adhere to FRCN Policies & Procedures, including the Illegal Drug By-law.
