The Community of Fisher River Cree Nation want to send best wishes and good luck to the Fisher River Athletes & Coaches that will attend this years North American Indigenous Games in Toronto.

The athletes and coaches gathered outside of the Bryden Cochrane Memorial Sports Complex where Elder Emily J.Murdoch was invited to share in a Prayer for the athletes for safe travels and wish them luck, along with the coaches.
Councillor Carl and Councillor Darryl were in attendance and gave words of encouragement, as well giving the Fisher River flag to the group to take for the Opening Ceremonies.
The Group would like to send a big Thank You to Matt Houston for all his help and to Fisher River Cree Nation for their contributions, amongst various businesses for their generous donations to fundraisers.
