The COVID-19 Virus is low in Manitoba but it is increasing.  To reduce the spread of this virus, the housing department staff is asking community members to seriously consider social distancing by calling or emailing instead of coming into the office for any type of request, questions or concerns, for the safety of both yourself and our staff.
Work Order requests for Social Assistance clients and Elders who reside by themselves will be emergency situations only, meaning no heat or no water.
All other housing requests, going forward, will be put on hold until further notice – which includes inspection requests.
Our email addresses are

Some homeowners have already requested no interaction at this time.  Should you call for no heat or no water, we will ask if anyone is sick in the household and let the contractor know to use precaution before going into the home.
The housing meetings for March have also been cancelled until further notice.
For after hour emergencies, my cell number is 204-308-2070.
Thank you for your immediate cooperation and understanding at this time.
