Good day members of Fisher River Cree Nation. I would like to take this time to reassure you that the Essential Service Staff that travel from out of town, or the Agency Staff are screened a total of three times prior to reaching the PCH. The agency screens them prior to leaving, the checkpoints in between, and the nurse on duty when they arrive at the PCH. Because the safety of our elders is priority, we are taking extra precautions in making sure that our essential workers are taking the precautions that have been advised from the Province of Mantioba.
The Provincial Long Term Care Program has developed a personalized Screening Tool that is to be used by all PCH’s. I have attached this screening tool for your interest.
Social Distancing within the home is also practiced to the best of our ability.
We partake in daily conferences with Provincial Long Term Care team to ensure that we are on the same page as the rest of Personal Care Homes.
