RE: Update on COVID-19 #12
On behalf of Health, we wish you and your family a very Joyous Good Friday, long weekend and Happy Easter.
As of April 10, 2020:
As of 9:30 a.m., Public Health officials advise that 6 additional cases of COVID-19 have been identified, bringing the total number of lab-confirmed positive and probable positive cases in Manitoba to 230. In addition, a fourth death has been reported, a man in his 70’s who lived in Winnipeg.
As you may know or not know, Fisher River falls within the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority, data shows that there is an increase in numbers within our region. Health takes advice from Manitoba Health and we all strongly advise if you don’t need to be out, stay home as much as possible, these next few weeks are very critical to all of us.
Again, Health is highly recommending the following steps: Keep your physical distancing – Stay 6 feet apart from one another, Stay home as much as possible. We all have a part to play!
