RE: Update on COVID-19 #15
Public health officials advise one new case of COVID-19 was identified as of 9:30am today, bringing the total number of lab-confirmed positive and probable positive cases in Manitoba to 273.
The data shows:

  • 5 individuals are currently hospitalized, there are no individuals in Intensive Care (ICU)
  • 54 active cases and 213 individuals who have recovered from COVID-19
  • the number of deaths due to COVID-19 remains at 6.

Cadham Provincial Laboratory performed 448 tests on Monday. A total of 23,304 tests have been performed since early February.
Fisher River Cree Nation falls within the Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority (IERHA). Please see attached map to show you the geographical area of IERHA. Also attached is data to positive cases that fall into each Regional Health Authority
Health reminds everyone to continue to follow the MB Health guidelines, some of which are washing your hands, cover your cough, staying home as much as possible & keeping your distance of 6 feet.
