Restoring Services Phase 4
On Thursday, July 23, 2020, the Province introduced its updated Draft Plan for Phase 4. One of the recommendations is allowing up to 2 people to visit inside the resident’s room. At this time, the OSPCH will not be allowing visitors inside their rooms because there is not 6 feet distance to allow for safe social distancing. We will continue our indoor visits in the Sun Room. The current visiting process is in place:

OUTSIDE VISITS INDOOR VISITS
Maximum 4 – 6 people on visitor list
Maximum 4 people at a time during visit
Maximum 2 people at a time
All visitors must be on the list All visitors must be on the list
Screening will take place by the nurse Screening will take place by the nurse
No mask is required, but recommended A mask is required and must be brought by the visitor or the visit will be stopped
If a resident is sitting outside, a phone call to the PCH is still required All indoor visits must be pre booked
All visits must be supervised

The PCH reserves the right to cancel any visit if the recommendations are not being followed. If you require any further clarification, please call the nurse on duty @ 204-645-2811
