To reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus in our community, the housing department is asking community members to seriously consider social distancing by calling or emailing instead of coming into the office for any type of request, questions or concerns, for the safety of both yourself and our staff.
Work Order requests for Social Assistance clients and Elders who reside by themselves will be emergency situations only, meaning no heat or no water.
All other housing requests, going forward, will be put on hold until further notice – which includes inspection requests.

Some homeowners have already requested no interaction at this time. Should you call for no heat or no water, we will ask if anyone is sick, has any symptoms or is isolating in the household and we will also ask the contractor the same and to wear a mask and gloves upon entering.
The housing meetings going forward will be tele-conference calls only.

Leadership would like to advised that there were two incidents of exposure of positive COVID-19 cases; the first incident, an individual was in attendance at a Funeral that took place on Sunday September 27, 2020 at the Jackhead Day of Pentecost House of Prayer who did not show symptoms and was not on any isolation list.
