In lieu of cancellation of Christmas Events in the Community, each on-reserve household will be receiving a Turkey Hamper and a Breakfast Hamper. The deliveries will begin on Friday, December 18, 2020. The Christmas Hampers are sponsored by Fisher River Cree Nation, Fisher River Economic Development, First Nation Healing Centre, Fisher River Health Services, Fisher River Board of Education, Fisher River Income Assistance Program and lntertribal Child and Family Services.
In recognition of the Christmas Holiday Season, the Fisher River Cree Nation Band Office will be closed at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 18th, 2020 and will re-open at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021.
For those on Social Assistance. the Social Assistance program will be distributing cheques on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
For Work Orders. emergency repairs include NO HEAT or NO WATER for Elders who reside by themselves and social assistant clients, during the Christmas Holiday (December 18, 2020 – January 4th, 2021) Candace Garson can be reached@ (204) 308-2070.
