Message of Condolences on the passing of Chief Dave Traverse, Kinonjeoshtegon First Nation

Fisher River Cree Nation (FRCN) Chief & Council along with our entire community are saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Chief Dave Traverse of Kinonjeoshtegon First Nation.
We would like to send our sincere condolences to Chief Traverse’s family and to our neighboring community.
Kinonjeoshtegon First Nation under Chief Traverse leadership has worked alongside FRCN on common issues such as environment and government business, fisheries and emergency management to name a few on numerous occasions.
We commend Chief Traverse’s leadership and advocacy for his community which spanned over 20 plus years; his presence & friendship with our nation will be deeply missed.
We will keep Chief Traverse family and community in our prayers.
