Update on COVID-19 Security Checkpoints

Please be advised that as of 6:00am July 17, 2021; the security Checkpoints will be closed/taken down at the community entrances.

Security staff will be redeployed throughout the community between the hours of 10:00pm-6:00am to monitor traffic and activities during the curfew period.

To clarify, the Community Curfew remains in effect between the hours of 12:00am-6:00am, between those hours all community members are asked to remain home. Anyone driving/out between the curfew hours will be recorded and reported to the RCMP and the First Nation Safety Officer.

We also ask community members to please call the Fisher River General & Travel Hotline (431.256.0041) if leaving the community overnight or if you are an Off-Reserve member coming to visit.
