This is to advise all Fisher River Cree Nation members that due to budget constraints, only emergency repairs will be considered until the new fiscal year (2021/2022).
Emergency repairs include NO heat or NO water for Elders who reside by themselves and for social assistance clients, which is confirmed through the social assistance department.

Employed members and E.I. recipients remain responsible for their own maintenance which includes contacting contractors themselves.
The requests for home ownership, cost-sharing and home loan programs that have already been submitted, has been received and will be out on hold until the next fiscal year (2021/2022) for further discussion.
All new incoming requests submitted, will be put on hold to the next fiscal year (2021/022) for review.

It has come to the attention of Chief and Council that Owen Hall has been trespassing on the reserve and residing in a home owned by FRCN without authorization from FRCN; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: THAT Chief and Council on behalf of FRCN hereby Order that Owen Hall be removed from the reserve pursuant to section 3.3 of By-Law No. 2017-13.
