Fisher River Health Centre (Public Health) COVID-19 Isolation Guidelines, effective February 25, 2022.

Positive Cases

*Please notify FRHC nurses at 431-256-0395 (8:30am – 4:30pm) of a positive COVID-19 home test.

Fully vaccinated (2 doses): 5 day isolation from symptom onset or test day as long as individual is symptom free for 24 hours at the end of day 5. Continue to follow safety protocols: wear a mask, social distance, sanitize, avoid large gatherings.

Not fully vaccinated: 10 day isolation.

Cases are to notify their own close contacts.

Close Contacts Isolation is no longer required. Close contacts to a positive case are advised to self-monitor for symptoms and call 431-256-0395 (8:30am-4:30pm) to pick up a COVID-19 home rapid testing kit if symptoms develop. Close contacts are required to isolate immediately if symptoms develop.

Close contacts living in the same household as a positive case are required to isolate (even if fully vaccinated). Close contacts in the same household are also required to perform rapid home tests every other day or when symptoms develop.
