Gathering Brings Home Elders

Great turn out for today for the Elders Gathering. We welcomed elders from on-reserve and brought home many off-reserve elders by charter, many who never been home in many years.

Councillor Delaney Mason was also sworn into office today in front our elders after successfully being elected in the by-election.

The elders enjoyed entertainment, visiting and of course Bingo.

Thank you to all who came out and to the organizers; we look forward to the next gathering!
