Chief and Council will be hosting the National Cree Gathering, August 3 – 6th, 2023, and we want to give you time to prepare for this upcoming event. Out theme this year is called “Walking in a good Way.” “Miyo-Pimohtewin”.
We would like to showcase FRCN local talent and are asking for people who want to showcase their work, such as; bead work, ribbon skirts and shirts, jewelry for those who make these, art work, star blankets, any other traditional items you want to showcase.
Tenders for Catering will be posted within the next month. The menu will include traditional food, like, moose or deer meat, fish, goose, blue berries, wild rice, as well as non traditional food.
We will require hand drummers, singers, and would like to host a talent night of music and dance.
We invite you to join us and our relatives, and we encourage our relatives to attend this important event.
More information to follow! Eskosi
