Additionally, the community welcomed a new leader, Barry Wilson, to the council. Chief David Crate’s 11th straight re-election and 14th total is a testament to the trust and confidence the community has in his leadership. Throughout his previous terms, Chief Crate has demonstrated unwavering dedication to the Fisher River Cree Nation, fostering development and advocating for the rights and well-being of its members. With his re-election, Chief Crate can continue his transformative work, building upon the accomplishments and progress achieved during his tenure.
