Chief and Council would like to extend their sincere condolences to the Crate Family on the loss of their loved one Shelby Crate. This is a very difficult time for the family and we hold them up in our prayers.

We are here to support the family and families that have been affected in this situation.  We have notified the (Manitoba Keewatinowa Okimakak) MKO Crisis Unit and have met with the Health team who sent a message with list of service providers.

If you are experiencing any kind of trauma or if you just want someone to talk to we encourage you to contact any of the services providers that are listed in the message sent from the Health Team.  We also encourage you to reach out to any one of the clergy men/women from the churches for support, and to any one of the traditional helpers.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families, and may the creator be with you and give you comfort and peace during this time.

Please find a list of resources available for individuals and/or families and service providers experiencing a Mental Health Crisis. Or if you would like to sit and talk with someone, please stop by the Health Centre and/or the Rainbow House Wellness Centre.
