CBC Manitoba is excited to come to Fisher River and share your stories with the rest of the province!
A team from our newsroom will be in your community from Monday Sept 28- Friday Oct 2 and we want to meet with as many community members as possible!
Our CBC “office hours”
We will set up a CBC “office” in your community so you can sit down with us IN-PERSON. This is a chance to meet a CBC journalist and share your story idea. There are no cameras or microphones; we want you to feel as comfortable as possible.
We’ll be located in the boardroom at the Bay River Inn and Suites. These are our office hours. Come by and say hello!
Monday: 1pm-6pm
Tuesday: 10am-6pm
Thurs: 10am-6pm.
What kind of stories are we interested in?
We want to hear all kinds of stories- as long as they matter to you!
- Is there someone inspiring in your community whom you want to celebrate?
- Is there a project you are working on that you want to tell us about?
- What are the most important issues or challenges you are facing right now that you want the rest of the province to know about?
- Are you part of any interesting groups or events?
