We are pleased to announce that our Outdoor visitation shelters are now ready to go and visits will soon start taking place. Families are being notified and visits will start as soon as March 15, 2021.
It has been a long-awaited process, but the residents are beyond excited to see their family members in person. We have a list of approved visitors and only will those visitors be allowed to schedule a visit. This list of approved visitors was provided by the families.
All visitors are screened prior to entry, and will be provided with a medical mask if we are still in Code Red. Otherwise, a non-medical mask will still be used. We encourage visitors to stay home if they have any symptoms, even if mild.
Your information will be kept on file for a maximum of 3 weeks as per recommended guidelines from the Province. After this time, your screen will be destroyed.
We thank you for your patience during these trying times, but we have all done an exceptional job in keeping the elders safe. 99% of the residents have received their vaccine, and no residents tested positive for COVID-19. We thank each and every one of you for your continued cooperation in following the Public Health Orders and protocols put in place.
Respectfully,
Ochekwi-Sipi Personal Care Home
