Fisher River Cree Nation is proud to announce the unveiling of its new rebrand, bringing back the iconic “Fisher” logo originally used in the mid 80s to the late 90s. Designed by the late Allen Dale Cochrane, this logo holds deep historical significance and represents the essence of the nation.
Chief David Crate and the Council express their excitement in reintroducing this emblem, which resonates with the community and symbolizes a proud heritage. The decision to revive the “Fisher” logo comes at a poignant time as the nation gears up to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the signing of Treaty No.5.
The rebrand reflects a nod to the past while embracing a vision for the future, encapsulating the spirit of unity and cultural pride within Fisher River Cree Nation. The return of this emblem serves as a tribute to tradition and a symbol of resilience for generations to come.
